Green Stream Technologies found itself cut off from valuable networking events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after reading an article about Atlantic Design and Manufacturing, CEO Karen Lindquist contacted its owner. The two companies collaborated to fill an order, leading to a successful partnership on other government projects.

Under especially adverse weather conditions during most of the day, the first Friday Night on White (FNOW) of 2023 went the distance on April 14, compelling many to wait out the spring storms and hang out for the evening in what will soon become an even more varied and vibrant Downtown. 

Plans are moving ahead on Phase II of Downtown Wake Forest’s Powerhouse Row. The larger of the two phases, it will feature 12,000 sq. ft. of street-level space for businesses and retailers, in addition to 47 apartment units on the upper four floors. 

Just in Time Treats opened a new storefront in January at The Factory, one of many merchants to open in the 200,000-square-foot retail and recreation space since its inception in 2004.

Roseland Pictures, a film production company, has launched in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The company aims to service Wake County and the surrounding area with professional and high-level communications and produce local, national, and international films.
