Business Retention And Expansion Program

The Wake Forest Economic Development Program, a program of the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Town of Wake Forest, has launched a Business Expansion and Retention Program (BRE). The BRE Program serves the needs of our community’s existing businesses. This free service is one in which we listen to your company’s needs and identify all of the appropriate resources from local, state and private entities that can benefit your company and enable you to thrive in today’s economy.

We provide the following services to your company free of charge:

  • Business expansion assistance

    If your company is growing or expanding, we can help you find a new physical space. We can also provide information about available programs and infrastructure development.

  • State financial programs

    We will listen to your needs and identify possible state financial programs that will benefit your company.

  • Workforce/training-related assistance

    If you need new employees or would like to train the ones you have, we can direct you to the proper personnel within the Employment Security Commission or community college system.

  • Local and state permit assistance

    Tell us what you need and we’ll help you navigate through the process.

  • Act as liaison to local government

    We can help in your dealings with city and local issues, from permits to Department of Transportation needs such as traffic signals and turn lanes.

  • Incentives Information

    Incentives may be available that you are not aware of. We can identify financial programs and tax credits that your company may qualify for.

  • Provide research assistance for local supplier and community data

    We have access to comprehensive research tools and resources that provide demographic data, studies, maps and more.
