About Wake Forest Economic Development
Wake Forest Economic Development is a program of the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce. We serve as the economic development agency for the Town of Wake Forest and work to promote and retain jobs and investment in our community. Our work helps to bolster our community’s position in the marketplace and retain a high quality of life for our residents.
We work closely with the Economic Development Committee to meet and achieve our goals and objectives outlined in an annual program of work.
Overview of Services:
- Detailed demographic, economic and geographic data about our community and region
- Site selection and evaluation services
- Searchable, on-line commercial real estate database of available buildings and land in Wake Forest and assist businesses in identifying sites that meet their specific requirements
- Assist with navigating local business processes, permitting, environmental issues, taxes, fees, and more.
- Referrals to service providers, such as utilities, educational institutes, banks, engineers, and others
- Serve the needs of our community’s existing businesses and organizations through our Business Retention and Expansion Program
- Advise the Town board staff about policy issues that support economic development
